Michael Carrick's Future at Manchester United Uncertain After Defeat

Michael Carrick's position as head coach of Manchester United is in jeopardy after the team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford, marking their eighth consecutive match without a win.

The loss has intensified scrutiny on Carrick, with the club's management reportedly already exploring alternative coaching options prior to the game. United's poor start to the Premier League season has left them hovering just above the relegation zone.

Should Carrick be dismissed, Julian Nagelsmann and Eddie Howe are considered the leading candidates for the role, both available without compensation. While Howe has expressed interest in a potential vacancy, Nagelsmann is known to the club's recruitment head from their time at RB Leipzig. Other names like Unai Emery and Antonio Conte have been mentioned, but they are not currently seen as frontrunners.
