Michael La Sasso Leads LIV Golf Indianapolis After Strong Round
Michael La Sasso, a 22-year-old rookie golfer, has taken a one-shot lead at LIV Golf Indianapolis after completing the third round with a score of four-under-par 66. This performance places him at 13 under par heading into the final round.
La Sasso achieved five birdies and an eagle during his round, despite recording two bogeys at The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield, Indiana. He is currently leading over Laurie Canter, Thomas Detry, Richard Bland, and Cameron Smith, who are all within striking distance.
Richard Bland, who is also seeking his first LIV Golf victory, matched the best round of the day with seven birdies but faced challenges on the sixth hole. Canter expressed satisfaction with his performance, having started strong in the third round. The team competition sees Legion XIII, led by Jon Rahm, holding a narrow lead over HyFlyers GC.
