Michael Penix's ACL Recovery Progress Praised by Falcons Coach
Michael Penix, the quarterback for the Falcons, is still awaiting full clearance following his ACL tear in November. However, the team believes he is on track in his recovery process.
Coach Kevin Stefanski indicated that Penix is building confidence through individual drills and is expected to gain further assurance in the offense once he is allowed to participate in full-team activities. Stefanski expressed satisfaction with Penix's progress and the medical team's plan for him.
While the Falcons maintain that Penix has a chance to compete for the starting position in Week One, it is anticipated that Tua Tagovailoa will likely take on the starting role when the season commences.
