Michail Antonio Trains with Watford Ahead of Championship Season

Michail Antonio, a former striker for West Ham United, is currently training with Watford in preparation for the Hornets' Championship season.

The 36-year-old's last match for West Ham was a defeat against Leicester City on December 3, 2024, after which he suffered a broken leg in a car accident. Following his release from West Ham in June 2025, Antonio returned to the club for rehabilitation and played two matches for the under-21 team.

Previously, he trained with Leicester City last December and was on the verge of joining Brentford, but a torn calf muscle prevented the transfer. His most recent playing stint was with Qatari club Al-Sailiya, where he made four appearances.
