Tom Helm was instrumental for Middlesex, taking four wickets for 36 runs, while Toby Roland-Jones, Naavya Sharma, and Ryan Higgins each contributed two wickets. Lancashire struggled to chase a target of 297, collapsing from a promising 97-3 to 136 all out.
Earlier, Middlesex had a challenging second innings, scoring 200 runs, with Roland-Jones making a notable contribution of 37 runs. Lancashire's George Balderson claimed five wickets, but despite a solid opening partnership of 57 runs between Keaton Jennings and Matty Hurst, the team could not avoid their fourth defeat in five matches.
