Mike Evans Misses Game Due to Achilles Tendinitis

Mike Evans, a wide receiver for the 49ers, did not participate in the recent game against the Falcons due to Achilles tendinitis. Prior to this issue, he was already coping with a rib injury.

The 49ers are currently on their bye week, allowing Evans at least two weeks to address his Achilles condition. General Manager John Lynch noted that Evans is dedicated to his recovery and is following a solid plan to alleviate the injury.

Evans has faced similar issues in the past, but the current situation has significantly affected his performance. The team expects to assess his readiness to return to practice in Week 9.
