Mike LaFleur Addresses Carson Beck's Rib Injury
Quarterback Carson Beck did not participate in Thursday's preseason game against the Raiders due to a rib injury. Head coach Mike LaFleur indicated that the rookie is expected to recover without issues.
LaFleur noted that Beck experienced discomfort but emphasized that if it had been a less intense situation, he would have played. He mentioned a conversation with Matthew Stafford regarding how injuries can sometimes feel worse after a few days, leading to the decision to rest Beck during the game.
In his previous appearance during the Hall of Fame Game, Beck performed well, completing 15 of 19 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown. The Cardinals are set to face the Cowboys next Saturday in their upcoming preseason match.
