Mike Vrabel Remains Optimistic About A.J. Brown's Performance
A.J. Brown, wide receiver for the New England Patriots, has faced challenges since his trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, particularly after suffering a high ankle sprain in the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks on September 9.
Upon returning to action, Brown had a difficult performance against the New York Jets on October 18, where he recorded only three receptions for 27 yards despite being targeted 10 times. His struggles continued in a subsequent game against the Chicago Bears, where he caught three passes for 48 yards in a 30-24 loss.
Despite these setbacks, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel has expressed no concerns regarding Brown's future contributions, emphasizing the need for the team to find offensive rhythm. The Patriots are set to face the Miami Dolphins on November 1, where they are favored to win.
