Mikel Merino Confident Arsenal Can Win Premier League and Champions League

Mikel Merino, an Arsenal midfielder, has stated that the team is poised to win both the Premier League and Champions League this season.

After ending a 22-year wait for a league title last season, Arsenal faced disappointment in the Champions League final, losing to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties. This season, they have started strong, winning nine of their first ten matches across all competitions, with their only loss being a surprising 3-0 defeat to Brighton.

Despite this setback, Arsenal has excelled in the Champions League, recently defeating Lille to achieve a 14th consecutive victory in the group stage. Merino emphasized the team's mentality and quality, expressing their ambition to win every major trophy, reflecting on their near success last season as a motivator for their current campaign.
