Milwaukee Brewers Secure Fourth Consecutive NL Central Title

Misiorowski's record improved to 15-5, with an ERA of 1.89, the best in the major leagues, and he increased his season strikeout total to 243. Joey Ortiz and Luis Lara contributed two runs each for the Brewers, who have made the postseason eight times in the last nine years. The Pirates, despite Brandon Lowe hitting his 30th homer, fell below .500 with a record of 75-76.
