Milwaukee Bucks Reschedule Home Opener to Accommodate World Series
The Milwaukee Bucks have rescheduled their home opener against the Chicago Bulls to the afternoon of Friday, October 23, to avoid overlapping with Game 1 of the World Series, which will be hosted by the Milwaukee Brewers.
The game, originally set for 7 p.m. local time, will now start at 3 p.m. Major League Baseball has not confirmed the start time for the World Series, but it is expected to begin around 7 p.m. CT.
The Bucks expressed their support for the Brewers, who are making their first World Series appearance since 1982 after achieving a franchise-record 103 wins this season. The Brewers advanced by defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. There may be another scheduling issue if the World Series extends to Game 7, which coincides with the Bucks' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 31.
