MLB DFS Picks and Player Props for Saturday
The regular MLB season is approaching its conclusion, yet the excitement of daily fantasy sports (DFS) continues. DraftKings' Featured slate kicks off at 7:10 PM Eastern Time and features nine games, mirroring FanDuel's Main Slate.
Gerrit Cole, starting pitcher for the New York Yankees, has a strikeout line set at 5.5, which is considered low given his previous performances. Despite a recent outing against the Chicago Cubs where he struck out five, Cole had consistently struck out at least six batters in his prior five starts. In today's game against the Atlanta Braves, he is expected to return to form.
Brandon Lowe of the Pittsburgh Pirates is projected to exceed 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI against right-handed pitcher Robert Stock, who has a career ERA of 4.90. Lowe has achieved this mark in 10 of his last 13 games. Additionally, Andruw Monasterio from the Boston Red Sox is also favored to surpass 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI, riding a nine-game streak and facing Gage Jump. The Red Sox offense has been performing strongly, increasing Monasterio's chances of contributing to the scoreboard.
