Mohamed Salah Joins Trabzonspor on Free Transfer After Leaving Liverpool
Mohamed Salah has officially joined Trabzonspor, a club in the Turkish Super Lig, on a free transfer after leaving Liverpool this summer. His departure followed a mutual agreement to end his contract a year early, concluding a nine-year tenure at Anfield.
During his time at Liverpool, Salah scored 257 goals in 442 appearances, making him the club's third all-time top goalscorer. He signed a two-year deal with Trabzonspor, which is expected to compete in European competitions next season.
Salah's exit from Liverpool came after a challenging season, which included a fallout with the team's head coach. Despite interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, he opted for the Turkish league, where he is set to earn around £15 million annually.
