Montez Sweat Reflects on Suspension and Looks Ahead

Defensive end Montez Sweat's two-game suspension concluded following the team's victory over the Patriots last Thursday. He spoke about his absence from the facility during a press conference on Tuesday.

Sweat expressed surprise at the suspension, which was due to a violation of the performance-enhancing drug policy. He accepted full responsibility for his actions but did not provide further details. He mentioned feeling devastated about missing games and the difficulty of facing head coach Ben Johnson after the incident.

Despite the setback, Sweat is focused on the future and aims to contribute positively to the team. He has recorded two sacks in the first five games of the season, and he hopes to build on that performance to help the team move past his suspension.
