Motor City Machine Guns Challenge FTR to Best of Five Series

The Motor City Machine Guns (MCMG) challenged FTR to a best of five series during the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.

FTR appeared on the entrance ramp for an interview segment with Tony Schiavone when MCMG made their entrance. Chris Sabin acknowledged FTR's status and expressed a desire to prove their superiority by defeating them in a series. He noted that since FTR considers themselves contenders for the Young Bucks, MCMG aimed to win three out of five matches against them.

Alex Shelley proposed starting the series immediately, but Stokely Hathaway suggested it would be better to kick off the series at WrestleDream. The two teams agreed and shook hands to finalize the plan. This matchup will mark the first time MCMG competes against FTR in a traditional two-on-two format, having previously faced them in a different setting at All Out 2022.
