Mumbai Dominates Day One of Ranji Trophy with Centuries from Raghuvanshi and Musheer
On the first day of the Ranji Trophy match against Haryana, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Musheer Khan both scored centuries, helping Mumbai reach 290 for three at the MCA’s Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy ground.
The pair formed a significant partnership of 208 runs for the second wicket, with Raghuvanshi scoring 114 runs and Musheer contributing 109 runs. Their performance came after Haryana's captain Ankit Kumar chose to field first, a decision that did not pay off as Mumbai's batsmen dominated the day.
Raghuvanshi's century marked his first in First Class cricket, while Musheer achieved his fifth. The innings saw Mumbai's batsmen employing a mix of traditional and aggressive strokeplay, keeping the scoring rate close to four runs per over. The day's play concluded early due to bad light.
