Mumbai Dominates Himachal in Ranji Trophy Match
Tushar Deshpande delivered an impressive performance, taking four wickets as Mumbai bowled out Himachal Pradesh for 140 on the first day of their Ranji Trophy Group D match at the Luhnu Cricket Ground on October 18, 2026.
Deshpande initiated the attack by dismissing Shubham Arora with the first ball of the match and later took out Nehal Wadhera. Despite a partnership of 66 runs for the fourth wicket between Pukhraj Mann and Vaibhav Kalta, Himachal struggled against Mumbai's bowling. Mumbai's response saw them reach 107 for two at the close of play, with Musheer Khan and captain Siddhesh Lad forming a solid partnership.
Outside the ground, a large crowd gathered to support the teams, enjoying the match under the sun. Mumbai's bowlers exploited the pitch conditions effectively, with Deshpande's performance being a highlight of the day.
