Munster Coach Supports Coombes After Alleged Incident in Match Against Leinster
In a recent match, Munster's Gavin Coombes alleged that he was grabbed in the groin by a Leinster player during the first half of their 24-18 loss at the Aviva Stadium.
The incident occurred late in the first half, and Coombes reported it to the match referee, Andrew Brace. However, the television match official, Colin Stanley, found no video evidence to support the claim.
Munster head coach Clayton McMillan voiced his support for Coombes, stating that players do not make such allegations lightly. He mentioned that the matter would be addressed by the citing commissioner for further review. Leinster's coach, Leo Cullen, acknowledged the seriousness of the allegation but noted he did not witness the incident himself.
