Murali Kartik Identifies Manav Suthar as Future Spin Option for India

Murali Kartik, a former spinner for India, has expressed his belief that Manav Suthar possesses the necessary qualities to eventually replace Ravindra Jadeja in the national Test squad. Both players are included in India's lineup for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka, with expectations that they will both play in the first Test in Galle.

Kartik noted that with Jadeja now 37 years old, it is crucial for India to consider the future of their spin attack. He pointed out Suthar's potential, especially given his recent performances, including a six-wicket haul against Afghanistan and a solid showing in a warm-up match against SLC XI.

While acknowledging Suthar's talents, Kartik emphasized the importance of evaluating him on his own merits rather than comparing him directly to Jadeja.
