Mykhailo Mudryk Set for Chelsea Return After Ban
Mykhailo Mudryk may return to the Chelsea squad for a pre-season friendly against Juventus in Hong Kong on Wednesday, following a 20-month suspension due to a drugs ban.
The Ukrainian winger was sidelined after testing positive for meldonium, but his case was resolved last week, allowing him to travel to Hong Kong to join the team. Chelsea's manager, Xabi Alonso, expressed happiness about Mudryk's return and noted that while he may not play the full match, he could be included in the lineup.
Mudryk has not participated in competitive matches since November 2024, and he expressed gratitude for the support he received during his suspension. Chelsea confirmed their commitment to helping him reintegrate into the squad as he resumes his career.
