Myles Garrett Misses Practice Due to Knee Swelling
Myles Garrett did not participate in his second straight practice, observing the Rams' joint session with the Cowboys on Tuesday.
Coach Sean McVay indicated that Garrett is experiencing swelling in his knee but is currently at 85 percent health, with no setbacks reported in his rehabilitation. The decision to hold him out was made as a precaution.
Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, had previously missed four practices last week due to lower-body soreness. He has been a consistent player, participating in all 17 games for the last two seasons and missing only four games over the past six seasons. The Rams acquired him from the Browns in a significant offseason trade, where he set the NFL record for single-season sacks with 23 last year, totaling 125.5 sacks in his nine-year career.
