Myles Garrett to Undergo Knee Surgery, Placed on Injured Reserve

Myles Garrett, a key pass rusher for the Los Angeles Rams, is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee and has been placed on injured reserve. This decision means he will be sidelined for a minimum of four games.

Garrett, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, was limited during his debut against the San Francisco 49ers, where he did not record any tackles. He acknowledged that he was not fully healthy during the game, having missed significant training camp time due to the knee issue.

This season marks Garrett's first with the Rams after a major trade from the Cleveland Browns. His absence will require other players, such as Byron Young and Aaron Donald, to step up in the defensive lineup. Donald, who recently came out of retirement, is expected to play a crucial role in Garrett's absence.
