NASCAR Adjusts Start Time for New Hampshire Cup Race Due to Weather
NASCAR has rescheduled the start time for the Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to 2pm EST on Sunday due to concerns about inclement weather.
The race will begin an hour earlier than initially planned. The updated schedule for race day includes the opening of the Fan Zone and ticket gates at 10 a.m. EST, followed by fan track access from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The race day coverage will start with an abbreviated pre-race show at 2 p.m. EST, coinciding with the command to start engines.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is hosting this race as the second-to-last event of the regular season, with the 16-driver Chase field to be finalized next weekend. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is also scheduled to compete at the venue this weekend.
