The NASCAR Cup Series has entered the Chase phase, with 16 drivers set to compete in a ten-race championship. Denny Hamlin leads the reset standings, having scored 1,027 points in the regular season, but his previous 89-point advantage has been reduced to a 25-point lead.

Ryan Preece clinched the 16th and final position in the Chase after achieving his first career victory, displacing Shane van Gisbergen by 17 points. The only distinction between the owner's and driver's standings is that the No. 60 car has five additional points compared to Preece.

Daniel Suarez made significant gains, moving up two spots with a second-place finish, earning ten bonus points before the Chase reset. Conversely, Riley Herbst dropped three positions to 29th after withdrawing from the race due to lingering effects from a previous wreck.
