NASCAR Cup Series Chase Battle Intensifies with Four Races Remaining
The NASCAR Cup Series is entering the final month of its regular season, with four races left before the points reset for the Chase for the Championship. Austin Cindric currently occupies the last playoff position, while Ryan Preece, Erik Jones, and Brad Keselowski are among those competing for a spot.
The upcoming races will take place at Iowa Speedway, Richmond Raceway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and Daytona International Speedway. The top 16 drivers will have their points reset after the 26th race, with the leader starting at 2100 points and subsequent positions following in five-point increments.
Four drivers have already secured their places in the Chase: Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney, and Ty Gibbs. Meanwhile, several drivers are in a tight race for the remaining spots, with Cindric needing to maintain his position against challengers like Preece and Jones, who are currently outside the playoff cut-off.
