NASCAR Launches 'Swear Jar' Promotion for 2026 Chase
NASCAR has announced a new promotion for the 2026 Cup Series championship known as the 'swear jar.' This initiative allows fans to win cash based on the frequency of drivers swearing on the radio during the final ten weeks of the season.
For every expletive uttered by a driver, NASCAR will contribute $5 to a cash pot. Fans can predict the total number of swear words used, with a potential payout of $1,000 for 200 swear words. Carson Hocevar has already engaged with the promotion on social media, hinting at the likelihood of high numbers. Participants can make their predictions at Swearjar.NASCAR.
This promotion contrasts sharply with stricter policies in other racing series, such as Formula 1, where cursing is discouraged. The first race of the Chase is set for this Sunday at 5 PM EST, featuring the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, with Denny Hamlin leading the contenders.
