The upcoming season will see a return of familiar events, including the street course race at Naval Air Station North Island and the Chicagoland Speedway, with no new international venues or standalone events planned.

NASCAR's COO Ben Kennedy indicated that the organization is considering its future direction in relation to the next broadcast rights agreement. The focus for now remains on North America, with potential opportunities in Mexico and Canada. Kennedy mentioned the possibility of expanding to military bases for races starting in 2028, emphasizing the need for logistical planning and feasibility assessments.

While discussions about a downtown Chicago race have stalled due to financial disagreements, both NASCAR and city officials are open to future conversations about hosting events in Grant Park. The organization believes that Chicago could support multiple races, given its substantial fan base.
