NASCAR Racing Weekend at Richmond Raceway

NASCAR is set to race at Richmond Raceway this weekend, marking Round 24 of the 26-race regular season. The event will feature both the Cup Series and the Craftsman Truck Series at the Virginia short track.

Austin Dillon, who has won the last two Cup races at Richmond, aims to become the first driver since Bobby Allison in 1983 to achieve three consecutive victories at this venue. Ty Gibbs, the latest winner from last weekend at Iowa Speedway, is currently in second place in the championship standings, trailing Denny Hamlin, who leads by over 100 points.

The weekend schedule includes practice and qualifying sessions, followed by the Truck race and the Cup race. The Truck race is set for 7:30 PM EST, while the Cup race will begin at 7:10 PM EST.
