NASCAR Weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway Faces Weather Challenges

NASCAR is hosting a triple-header weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, marking the first fall Cup race on the oval since 2017. However, the event may be affected by inclement weather due to an approaching hurricane.

The weekend schedule includes NASCAR Truck practice and qualifying, followed by the Truck Series race, and culminates with the NASCAR Cup race. Kyle Larson leads the championship standings, with Denny Hamlin trailing by 40 points.

Weather forecasts indicate rain in Charlotte starting Saturday afternoon and continuing into Sunday morning, potentially impacting the racing schedule. There are 39 entries for the NASCAR Cup race, including teams returning with new drivers.
