Nate Diaz Critiques Ilia Topuria Following Loss to Justin Gaethje
Nate Diaz has publicly criticized Ilia Topuria in response to Topuria's recent loss to Justin Gaethje. During an event in Los Angeles, Diaz dismissed Topuria's previous comments, labeling him as ineffective and referencing his defeat.
Diaz, who is 41 years old, expressed interest in fighting for the new Ki MMA organization, particularly if the matches are held in a ring. He indicated a desire to compete at least twice in 2027, with a potential start in January. Although he ruled out a rematch with Mike Perry for now, he mentioned that he intends to address that matchup in the future.
Since leaving the UFC in 2022, Diaz has participated in three fights, achieving one victory and two losses. He remains open to various promotional opportunities, including a possible return to the UFC. Diaz also expressed support for Conor McGregor following McGregor's knee injury and left the possibility open for a rematch with Jake Paul, contingent on changes to the promotion's name.
