Nate Diaz Responds to Jake Paul's MMA Challenge
Nate Diaz has addressed Jake Paul's challenge for a rematch in mixed martial arts after the announcement of the merger between the Professional Fighters League and Most Valuable Promotions.
Paul made his callout while promoting the merger in a video, claiming Diaz has been avoiding a rematch since their boxing match in 2023, which Paul won by unanimous decision. He urged Diaz to stop evading the fight.
In response, Diaz posted a brief message on social media directed at Paul. The former UFC lightweight has not won an MMA fight since 2022 and holds a record of 21-14 in the sport. Meanwhile, Paul, who has a background in wrestling and boxing, has not trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu or kickboxing. The unified promotion is expected to start operations in 2027.
