Nate Thomas Traded from Cowboys to Texans
Nate Thomas has been traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Houston Texans as part of a deal involving future draft picks. Thomas, who was competing for the starting left tackle position during training camp, will now join the Texans' roster.
The trade sees Thomas, a seventh-round pick by the Cowboys in 2024, moving to Houston in exchange for a seventh-round pick in 2027. His position with the Cowboys became uncertain after the team acquired offensive tackle Broderick Jones from the Steelers, making Thomas expendable.
Last season, Thomas participated in all 17 games for the Cowboys, starting four of them. The Texans are looking to enhance their offensive line, which has struggled in recent years.
