Golfer Nathan Kimsey expresses confidence in the DP World Tour regarding player safety as he prepares for the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship next week.
Nathan Kimsey is set to participate in the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship next week, part of the 2026 DP World Tour season. He has stated his trust in the tour's measures for player safety amid ongoing regional tensions.
Concerns about safety were previously raised by fellow golfer Matt Fitzpatrick, who has not been included in the entry list for the event. Kimsey, currently ranked 72nd in the Race to Dubai, sees this as an opportunity to qualify for the season finale in Dubai if he performs well.
Kimsey has had a successful year, making 19 cuts in 28 tournaments and earning £448,000 in prize money. He aims to break into the top 50 of the DP World Tour rankings, which would secure his spot at the DP World Tour Championship.
