Nathan Rourke Returns to Practice with B.C. Lions Ahead of Week 10
Nathan Rourke, the quarterback for the B.C. Lions, has resumed practice with the first team just weeks after suffering a shoulder injury during a game against the Edmonton Elks.
Following concerns about the potential severity of his injury, an MRI revealed a more optimistic prognosis, indicating that Rourke's recovery would take weeks rather than months. During his absence, the Lions recorded a 1-1 record and currently sit at 2-5 in the West Division, trailing the Stampeders and Blue Bombers by two games.
In the five games he has played this season, Rourke has accumulated 1,403 passing yards, with five touchdowns and four interceptions, completing 71.3 percent of his passes. The Lions are set to face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, who have a record of 3-5, in Week 10 after their recent victory over Winnipeg.
