National Bank Open: Key Matches Scheduled for Friday

The National Bank Open presented by Rogers will continue its third-round matches on Friday in Toronto and Montreal. The men's competition in Montreal will see seeded doubles teams like Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, as well as Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic, competing.

In Toronto, several prominent singles players will be in action, including Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff, and Naomi Osaka. Gauff is set to face Maria Sakkari in the evening session, while Osaka will compete against Elise Mertens. Canadian Leylah Fernandez will also play against Mirra Andreeva, who has had success on clay but is still establishing her game on hard courts.

Bianca Andreescu, after a first-round exit, will partner with Kayla Cross in a doubles match against Ulrikke Eikeri and Quinn Gleason. This match is scheduled for the Grandstand in Toronto between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
