The National Bank Open continues on Wednesday with the Round of 64 taking place in both Montreal and Toronto. Key players are set to compete, including top-ranked athletes making their tournament debuts.
In Toronto, second-ranked Elena Rybakina, third-ranked Jessica Pegula, fourth-ranked Coco Gauff, and fifth-ranked Mirra Andreeva will all participate. Meanwhile, Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, currently ranked No. 4 in the world, will play against Titouan Droguet of France in Montreal.
Auger-Aliassime aims to build on his recent quarterfinal finishes at Wimbledon and the French Open. In the women's draw, Leylah Fernandez and wild-card entry Kayla Cross will also compete in Toronto. Cross recently achieved her first career tour-level win, while Alexandra Eala, fresh off a victory at the DC Open, will face Alycia Parks later in the evening.
