National Bank Open Round of 16 Begins with Key Matchups
The Round of 16 at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers starts on Saturday in Toronto, showcasing several prominent players in the women's draw.
Among the highlights, six of the eight women competing are ranked in the top 10. Iga Swiatek, ranked No. 7, will face No. 10 Marta Kostyuk, while No. 9 Elina Svitolina will compete against No. 8 Amanda Anisimova. World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is also set to play against No. 16 Ekaterina Alexandrova.
On the men's side, Cameron Norrie, who recently upset third-ranked Alex de Minaur, will seek his fourth victory at the tournament against No. 18 Arthur Fils. Canadian players Alexis Galarneau and Duncan Chan will participate in doubles, facing the eighth-ranked duo of Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Kevin Krawietz.
