NBA DFS Picks for October 21: Jalen Johnson Among Top Choices

The NBA's Opening Week continues on October 21 with 22 teams competing, expanding the player pool for daily Fantasy basketball. Notable players making their season debuts include Anthony Edwards, Zion Williamson, Kevin Durant, and Cooper Flagg, while Giannis Antetokounmpo, LaMelo Ball, and Ja Morant will debut with their respective teams.

Mike McClure, a DFS professional with over $2 million in winnings, has identified Jalen Johnson as a key pick for the day. Johnson, priced at $9,000 on DraftKings and $9,700 on FanDuel, averaged 22.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 7.9 assists last season, recording 13 triple-doubles. He previously posted a triple-double against Orlando, making him a strong candidate for lineups.

Additionally, McClure is focusing on Jalen Suggs, who is priced at $5,600 on DraftKings and $6,500 on FanDuel. Suggs is expected to see increased playing time due to an injury to teammate Anthony Black. Last season, he averaged significant stats when playing over 35 minutes, making him a valuable option against Atlanta.
