NBA DFS Picks for October 21: Jalen Johnson Highlights Top Choices

The NBA's Opening Week continues on October 21 with 22 teams competing, expanding the player pool for daily Fantasy basketball. Notable players making their season debuts include Anthony Edwards, Zion Williamson, Kevin Durant, and Cooper Flagg, while Giannis Antetokounmpo, LaMelo Ball, and Ja Morant will also debut with their respective teams.

Mike McClure, a DFS expert with over $2 million in winnings, has identified key players for this Wednesday's lineups. Jalen Johnson of the Hawks is highlighted as a top pick, priced at $9,000 on DraftKings and $9,700 on FanDuel. Johnson had a standout previous season, averaging 22.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 7.9 assists, including 13 triple-doubles, making him a valuable asset against the Magic.

Additionally, McClure recommends Jalen Suggs of the Magic, who is priced at $5,600 on DraftKings and $6,500 on FanDuel. Suggs is expected to see increased playing time due to an injury to teammate Anthony Black, and he previously averaged significant stats when logging over 30 minutes.
