NBA Teams with Open Two-Way Contract Spots

Fourteen NBA teams currently have openings for two-way contracts, allowing them to add players to their rosters for the upcoming season.

As the NBA prepares for the 2026/27 season, fourteen teams have at least one opening for two-way contracts, which enable teams to carry additional players beyond their standard roster.

Two-way players can earn $678,882 and participate in up to 50 games during the regular season, provided their team has a full roster. The defending champion Knicks hold all three available two-way spots, while the Nuggets have two openings. Other teams have one spot each, with some already having potential signings in place.

Notable expected signings include Jalen Pickett with the Clippers and Carson Cooper with the Grizzlies, while Rafael Castro is anticipated to join the Bucks. The Grizzlies are currently at the offseason limit of 21 players, which affects Cooper's signing timeline. Additionally, several unsigned second-round picks may also be considered for two-way contracts.
