The rankings place the Knicks at the top, bolstered by the addition of Andre Drummond to a strong core that includes Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. The 76ers follow closely after acquiring LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, raising questions about their offensive dynamics. The Cavaliers, despite retaining much of their previous roster, slipped one position, with continuity seen as a potential advantage.
Other notable teams include the Raptors, who are expected to improve with a projected trade for Kawhi Leonard, and the Pistons, who added John Collins and Isaiah Joe. The Celtics, Pacers, and Heat also made significant moves, while the Bulls and Nets are focusing on development. The Bucks find themselves at the bottom of the rankings as they transition after Giannis Antetokounmpo's departure.
