Nelly Korda to Play Four Matches at Solheim Cup

Nelly Korda is set to compete in four matches at the Solheim Cup, as she practiced on the range while her teammates participated in the afternoon four-balls at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands.

This marks the fifth consecutive Solheim Cup where Korda, currently ranked world No. 1, will not play all five matches, having previously sat out one session in 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024.

In her morning match, Korda teamed up with Allisen Corpuz but lost to Maja Stark and Linn Grant with a score of 3 and 2. This result gives her a record of 1-1-1 for the 2026 event and an overall Solheim Cup record of 11-6-2. U.S. captain Angela Stanford indicated that there was no plan for Korda to play all five matches, while Lauren Coughlin is the only American scheduled to participate in all sessions.
