Nets Receive Positive Injury Updates on Guards Dëmin and Traore
The Brooklyn Nets experienced a scare during their game against the Boston Celtics when both starting guards, Egor Dëmin and Nolan Traore, had to exit due to injuries. Dëmin left the game in the second quarter with a right leg contusion, while Traore departed in the fourth quarter due to cramping.
Dëmin reported that his injury is not serious and expressed optimism about his recovery. He was injured while defending against Paul George and indicated that he felt better shortly after the incident. Traore, who had just earned a starting position after a strong performance in the previous game, scored 15 points before leaving the game. Coach Jordi Fernández noted that Traore was struggling with movement due to cramping, a recurring issue from his rookie season.
The Nets are scheduled to practice on Thursday and will host the Detroit Pistons on Friday. They do not need to submit injury reports for either player until later that day.
