New 32-Inch Gravel Tires Announced by Continental and Rene Herse

Continental and Rene Herse have announced the upcoming release of new 32-inch gravel tires, set to launch in April 2027, as many brands prepare to introduce 32-inch gravel bikes next year.

Continental's new Dubnital tire will be available in a 50mm width, maintaining the design of its 700c counterpart while expanding size options. Meanwhile, Rene Herse will introduce the Indiana Pass tire, featuring a 55mm semi-slick option, despite the brand's CEO previously expressing skepticism about the viability of larger wheel sizes.

Continental's Product Manager noted that the Dubnital is designed to meet the growing interest in 32-inch wheels, while Rene Herse's decision to produce larger tires was influenced by requests from professional athletes. Both tire models are expected to fill a gap in the market as new gravel bikes are released.
