New Chess Training Courses Released in July
ChessBase has introduced a range of new chess training materials for July, including a two-volume course by IM Robert Ris that offers a complete repertoire for Black after 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 g6.
This course covers both the Open Sicilian's sharp lines and the positional Maroczy setup, providing over twelve hours of content that combines theoretical variations with practical ideas.
Additionally, GM Sipke Ernst presents a modern interpretation of the Benko Gambit, focusing on pawn sacrifices for long-term activity and pressure on the queenside. GM Fabien Libiszewski also offers insights into the Petroff Defence, showcasing its potential for more than just equality. ChessBase Magazine #232 features comprehensive training material, including articles and annotated games, available in both digital and print formats.
