Newcastle Confirms Lewis Hall is Not for Sale to Manchester United
Newcastle United has officially stated that left-back Lewis Hall is not for sale this summer, responding to an inquiry from Manchester United. Hall, a 21-year-old England international, has been a long-term target for the Premier League club.
Manchester United is seeking to bolster their left-back position, especially after the departure of Tyrell Malacia. Currently, Luke Shaw is the only senior left-back available to manager Michael Carrick. Newcastle had previously rejected Manchester United's inquiry about Hall two weeks ago, as they are also looking to strengthen their own squad.
Hall has three years left on his contract with Newcastle. Despite Manchester United's interest, Newcastle's recent changes, including a new manager and the absence of Champions League football, may influence the dynamics of the transfer market.
