Newcastle Injury Update: Nico Gonzalez Set for Debut, Others Remain Out

Nico Gonzalez, a recent high-profile signing for Newcastle United, is likely to make his debut this weekend after impressing in training. Coach Matthias Jaissle noted that Gonzalez has shown sharpness and potential, suggesting he will adapt quickly to the team's playing style.

In terms of injuries, Joelinton, Dan Burn, and Will Osula are currently unavailable. Jaissle mentioned that Osula is receiving excellent treatment but it is too early to determine when he might return. Both Joelinton and Burn are also undergoing rehabilitation.

Bazoumana Toure, who experienced some pain during the EFL Cup match, is expected to be fit for the upcoming game. Additionally, Tino Livramento has returned to training but is not expected to participate in Gameweek 2 as he continues to follow an individual recovery program.
