NFL Owners Approve Arctos' Limited Stake Purchase in Falcons
NFL owners have given the green light for Arctos to acquire a limited stake in the Atlanta Falcons, as announced by the team on Tuesday.
The deal involves a 7.5 percent ownership of the franchise, with Arctos also planning to secure an additional 2.5 percent stake later, pending a separate vote by NFL owners. The valuation for 10 percent of the team has been reported at $10.6 billion.
Founded in 2019 and acquired by KKR in 2026, Arctos is recognized as the largest institutional investor in professional sports franchises and is the only firm permitted for multiteam ownership across all major U.S. leagues. Falcons owner Arthur Blank expressed his satisfaction in welcoming Arctos as a limited partner, highlighting their expertise and alignment with the team's core values.
