
NFL Preseason Week 1 Highlights: Top Players and Performers

Kedon Slovis of the Arizona Cardinals was named Quarterback of the Week after completing seven of nine passes for 75 yards, with two significant throws and no turnovers. Courtland Sutton from the Denver Broncos earned the Offensive Player of the Week title, catching all three of his targets for 60 yards, achieving a 94.3 PFF receiving grade.
Marcelino McCrary-Ball of the New York Jets was recognized as the Defensive Player of the Week, making four tackles and forcing a fumble during his 20 snaps. Rookie of the Week honors went to Kamari Ramsey of the Houston Texans, who had an impressive debut with a 94.8 PFF grade, excelling in coverage. The Philadelphia Eagles were named Offensive Line of the Week for their strong pass protection, allowing only two pressures in their preseason opener.
