
NFL Preseason Week 3 Highlights: Top Performers and Team of the Week
The final week of the 2026 NFL preseason highlighted several players who excelled, making a strong case for their inclusion on the roster ahead of the regular season.
Gardner Minshew of the Arizona Cardinals was named Quarterback of the Week after completing seven of nine passes for 126 yards, achieving an 88.5 PFF passing grade. He demonstrated effective downfield play with a 12.1-yard average depth of target.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Zavion Thomas earned Offensive Player of the Week honors, catching all five of his targets for 140 yards, including a 97-yard touchdown, and achieving a 90.6 PFF receiving grade. On the defensive side, Deontae Lawson, a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles, was recognized as both Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week for his standout performance, which included three tackles for defensive stops and a forced fumble.
The Cincinnati Bengals' offensive line also received accolades, with five linemen achieving at least a 70.0 PFF pass-blocking grade, contributing to a rushing total of 211 yards against the Eagles.
